Sustainable Health Systems is a Sierra Leone-driven, not-for-profit organization aiming to implement and generate evidence responsive to local needs of health care services users, managers and policy makers through fostering effective collaboration in capacity strengthening for research-to-policy translation. We aim to support the vision of equitable health care for all Sierra Leoneans. We aspire to be a cross-sectoral Sierra Leonean organization that produces high quality research outputs and innovations relevant to the national and global health landscape. SHS was launched by Sierra Leonean scientists to support effective partnerships across the health, social, defense, and tertiary education sectors focused on health and evidence generation in Sierra Leone.
